This farm is fantastic. I volunteer here. They have a wide variety of animals that are well taken care of and the place is clean and the animals are all loved

Honest caring people doing amazing work giving animals a second chance at having normal happy lives.

I took my 3 kids there today for open house. The kids had a blast and loved all the animals. Mrs campf was our tour guide and was very detailed when explaining the animals to the kids and let my son walk beside her and hold her hand the whole way! It was a great experience and I will be returning alot next year!

Loved the tour, and great care of the animals

We called and scheduled a private tour for a weekday. We had a group of about a dozen people -- ages nine up through seventy-two. Everyone really enjoyed this place -- it was well worth the price of admission. It is NOT a petting zoo, though some of the animals are able to be petted or fed from your hand. If you interact at all with animals, it is by the animal's choice. To this end, the treat baskets were a worthwhile expense. We got three total for our group, and they had a variety of animal treats, they were easy to share and they lasted the whole tour (about an hour). It was a walking tour, so I might not have brought kids who needed carried or to ride in a stroller. Our tour guide was Leslie, who was great with both people and animals. She didn't put a rose on anything - she was straight with the kids about how difficult some of the animals are to care for, how some of their personalities leave a lot to be desired. They didn't make excuses for animals that were standoffish, surly, or messy -- which I appreciated. Many of these animals wound up there because someone thought they would make a great pet and didn't do enough research. They do ask that you sign a waiver, so make sure you read and understand it. My personal favorite animal was Rudy, a deer and a dear and a very friendly fellow. My father-in-law enjoyed getting a "kiss" from his favorite animal, a camel. My husband and niece liked the pygmy goats. It's a different experience from going to the zoo, as well.
