We loved it. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely will be back soon.
We are from Maryland and it was our first visitVery friendly staff....large clean campground....very large pool....lots of activities for the kids...enjoyed my stay...id recommend staying for the weekend or even if your passing through
Very bad. The owner of the campground was giving off a bad attitude because we didn't want to stay there. Everything was crowded together. The area they give you to go tent camping was a joke. Maybe like 2 trees and was located by all the RVs. There was no room for our 8 person tent and definitely no room for 2 tents- which she tried charging us for. When we called the staff member we were talking to gave us a set price which we had to deposit. And when we got there the owner of the campground upped the price. Clearly she was just money hungry. Now I work in customer service so I know what's an acceptable way to treat a person. How the owner treated us was definitely not acceptable and pretty bi*chy to be honest. This isn't a campground as much as an RV park to stay a night if you're traveling. Will NOT return and I encourage everyone else to look somewhere else also.
My family and I stayed there this past weekend for a few days in a cabin. When checking in the ladies at the front were very nice, graceful and smiling. They showed us to our cabin and the cabin was spotless. The cabin was better in person then the pictures they have online. It was right next to the pond which was nice because we wanted to fish a lot those few days (Which we did). I also liked that they deliver wood for you. The only problem and which is and can be a big problem is one of the workers/Volenteer people they have there. He is a older gentleman who actually stays on the campground. A bigger man with gray hair and a hat. Wasn't the owner. He kept harassing my family and I all weekend from telling us that we can't throw the football, to telling us to slow down when we were driving only 5 miles an hour but what really took the cake was when the paddle boats during the storm started to float away off the chains so as good people my nephew and I grabbed the boats quick and started chaining them back to the dock. My nephew actually fell in and grabbed the boat to bring it back to the dock and he and his daughters/wife were filming us. He also kept driving past our site just looking at us funny like we were animals or something. My family and I unfortunately will not be returning simply because of that guy. Other then that those this canpground is lots of fun.
That campground is wonderful. From the moment I got there everyone was so very helpful! They had everything i needed for my maiden voyage (Not new to camping) in their little RV store. They have ice cream, activites, nice huge bath house, propane, movies, cable wifi, games and books. I relaxed more there than any place i have been.
